Цель: развитие социокультурной компетенции учащихся; знакомство с историей, традициями, географическим положением и политическим устройством страны изучаемого языка (Великобритании и США).
Xод игры
1. Организационный момент.
Mузыка. В зал входят зрители и рассаживаются по разным сторонам зала. В зал входят участники игры. На входе они получают полоску бумаги с названием своей команды и галстук. Члены команд рассаживаются за столы. Происходит знакомство членов команд друг с другом и выбор капитанов.
2. Вступительная часть. Представление жюри, команд, капитанов, группы поддержки. Правила игры.
Ведущий 1: Good afternoon, dear friends!
Welcome to the most exciting quiz show in the world – “Brainstorm”!
Ведущий 2: Today the two teams are going to compete for the name of the smartest and the quickest students in our school!
Ведущий 1: The quiz is about the USA and Great Britain- geography, history, political systems and famous people.
Ведущий 2: To start with, meet our jury- the students of the eleventh grade… (Идет представление членов жюри)
Applause, please!
Ведущий 1: Now welcome our participants – the team “Oxford, the captain ….and….the team “Cambridge”, the captain…! (Идет представление капитанов команд)
Ведущий 2 (В зал, показывая на левую и правую части аудитории):
Dear friends! In our game this part of the audience supports “Oxford” and you support “Cambridge”! You may help your team win!!!
Ведущий 1: Dear students , now attention, please! Listen to the instructions
- There will be 4 rounds and 48 questions.
- First listen to the question. Then you will have 20 seconds to discuss the answer in your group.
- When you are ready give a signal.
- The captain names the student who will answer.
- For each correct answer you will get one point!
