Цели занятия:

  • Практиковать учащихся в употреблении слов, относящихся к теме “Профессия”.
  • Практиковать учащихся в словообразовании.
  • Совершенствовать навыки аудирования с целью извлечения необходимой информации.
  • Совершенствовать коммуникативные навыки учащихся по теме “Профессия”.
  • Ознакомить учащихся с английскими идиомами, связанными с профессиями.

Обучающая цель: систематизация и закрепление знаний, необходимых для развития письменной речи учащихся по теме “Моя будущая профессия”, а также тренировать умение общаться на английском языке по теме “Моя будущая профессия”.

Развивающая цель: развитие интеллектуальных способностей учащихся (память, мышление, внимание), обучение логичности при построении иноязычных высказываний по теме.

Воспитательная цель: воспитание личностных качеств (самостоятельность, умение работать в коллективе, умение выслушать, уважение к чужому мнению), а также содействовать профориентации учащихся.

Планируемые результаты обучения:

Личностные:

  • формировать чувство потребности в выборе профессии востребованной в современном обществе;
  • помочь учащимся определиться с выбором будущей профессии;
  • формировать качества, необходимые для успешности в будущей профессиональной деятельности.

Метапредметные:

  • умение планировать работу, сравнивать, обобщать, делать логические выводы;
  • умение работать с различными источниками информации, выделять главное;

умение осуществлять работу в команде.

Предметные:

  • умение логично и последовательно выражать свое мнение в соответствии с коммуникативной задачей;
  • умение воспринимать иноязычную речь на слух с визуальной опорой и строить логическое высказывание по теме;
  • умение работать со справочной литературой, словарем;
  • умение использовать грамматические структуры в речи;

Этапы урока

I. Организационный момент. Ознакомление с темой, целями и задачами урока.

Hello, pupils, how are you? Hello our guests, welcome to our English lesson. Pupils, please, check if you have your text-books, copy-books and pens on you desks. Julia, what date is it today? Open your copy-books and write down today's date, class work and the topic to the lesson "My plans for the Future". What was your home task for today? Let's check it. Let's remember how can we express our future actions in English. What are you going to do after leaving school? Will you try to find a job or continue your education? Have you made up your mind what to be in the future? Did anybody help you to make the choice?

II. Актуализация лексического материала по теме урока.

Teacher: Today we are going to speak about your plans for future and your future professions. Young people have many opportunities when they leave school. It is very important for a person to make the right choice. So you should answer some questions before you make up your mind. For example The knowledge of what school subjects will you need for your future profession? What skills and qualities should you have to be a good specialist? Are you ready to answer these questions?

First of all let’s revise some popular professions. Look at the screen and try to remember the name of the profession.

Teacher: Well done! Look at the screen and choose whom you would contact if

  • all the lights have suddenly gone out?
  • your house is on fire?
  • your hair is getting too long?
  • your pet cat is unwell?
  • your car has broken down?
  • you have lost your way in a foreign city?
  • you want to register in a hotel?
  • a filling has come out of your tooth?

Teacher: You are right. Now look at the list of adjectives and choose what qualities are required for the following professions.

Учащиеся используют прилагательные: sociable, creative, patient, brave, polite, active, attentive, confident , determined, fair, imaginative, responsible, cooperative, tolerant, understanding, careful, courageous, intelligent.

Teacher: Choosing a career is not an easy thing. Young people face a lot of difficulties when they make up their mind about the future profession. Have you decided what profession to choose? If you are not sure this film can help you to take a right decision. Well, before choosing a career you should understand who you are, what you are interested in, who inspires you?

- What are your values? What skills do you posses? What kind of personality are you? Let’s answer some of these important questions.
- What are you fond of? Can your hobby help in your future profession?
- Are you going to follow your parent’s footsteps?
- What are you good at?
- What kind of work experience would be helpful for your future job?

- What qualities are required for your profession?
