Лингвиада. Внеклассное мероприятие для учеников 5–6-х классов в рамках школьной недели иностранных языков

Предметная неделя иностранных языков – важный момент погружения учащихся в языковую среду в форме игр, соревнований, КВНов, конкурсов рисунков, драматизации сценок, конкурсов чтецов и так далее. Все это можно провести в интегрированном виде. Интеграция предметов становится обычным явлением в школе, так как такой метод обучения помогает повысить мотивацию учащихся, способствует лучшему усвоению знаний, дает комплексный подход к пониманию изучаемых предметов. В предлагаемой «Лингвиаде» произведена интеграция русского и английского языков. Ее рекомендуется провести в форме командного соревнования.

Цели и задачи мероприятия:

  • Проконтролировать знание лексики по темам:  «Алфавит. Личные имена.Цвета. Овощи-фрукты. Школьные предметы. Спорт. Профессии. Одежда. Животные. Пословицы-поговорки. Фразеологизмы».
  • Активизировать страноведческие и социокультурные знания.
  • Повысить интерес к странам изучаемого языка и к родному языку.
  • Сформировать готовность и способность обучающихся к саморазвитию, обучению, познанию.

ХОД МЕРОПРИЯТИЯ.

1. Ведущий проводит разминку. The game “Snowball”. Дается предложение: «My uncle went to London and bought a pair of shoes». Каждый учащийся по цепочке должен повторить предложение, добавив свой вариант покупки. Последний участник называет все предметы.

2. The ABC game

You’ll get some letters from the English alphabet. You must put the letters in the right order, so as to get the name of the 3 English-speaking countries. You have 1 minute at your disposal. Each team can get 5 points.
A(6 times), E(2 times), D(2 times), G, N(3 times), C (2 times), L, M, I, R.

3.“A magic 5”

Look at the square, each team will take turns in answering questions. You’ll choose any number. “ …”, it’s your turn to start.  Captains will have an opportunity to choose the number.
You can get 5 points for the right answer.

  • Say or sing the English alphabet.
  • Name 5 colours.
  • Name 5 sorts of vegetables.
  • Name 5 school subjects.
  • You’re lucky! You won a prize!
  • Name 5 sorts of fruit.
  • Name 5 sports.

4. “Parts and wholes”

I need 1 pupil from each team. You should combine these parts so as to get a popular name. Who will be the first? You can get 1 point for each right answer.

7. The following task is for the rest. I need 1 pupil from each team. You should read the tongue-twister as quickly as you can 3 times.

8. The next contest is called “The right choice”. It’s very important to make the right choice in our life: the right choice of a color, a hobby, a friend etc. Each team should answer my questions and can get 1 point for the right answer.
