Организация внеклассной работы по английскому языку "Викторины по страноведению"

В данной работе я бы хотела поделиться организацией и проведением внеклассной работы по английскому языку в МАОУ «Гимназия» г.Старая Русса Новгородской области.
Одной из интереснейших форм работы в этом направлении является проведение Викторины по страноведению для учащихся 3-4 классов, 5-7 классов и 8-11 классов. Такие Викторины рассчитаны на глубокие знания учебного материала. На некоторые вопросы ответы можно легко найти в учебнике, а есть вопросы, где надо изучить дополнительную литературу и поискать ответы в Интернете.
Сразу хотелось бы отметить положительные стороны проведения Викторины по знанию страны изучаемого языка. Во-первых, в них принимают участие учащиеся всех классов. Во-вторых, такой вид работы усиливает мотивацию к изучению английского языка, способствует развитию речевой деятельности, увеличивает языковый запас, стимулирует интеллектуальную активность. В-третьих, расширяется кругозор школьников, повышается культурный уровень, развиваются творческие способности детей. Велико также воспитательное значение такой работы - она воздействует на взаимоотношения учителя и учащегося, ведет к сотрудничеству и творчеству, что способствует достижению поставленных целей.
