- Познакомить со словами, обозначающими различные ёмкости ;
- Познакомить с употреблением слов, обозначающих количество;
- Развивать умения аудирования, чтения и говорения.

-Good morning, children!
-I am glad to see you.
-We shall remember the names of food and learn some new words.
Фонетическая зарядка.
-But at first let`s practise the English sounds.I `ll show you the symbols of the English sounds and the task for you is to pronounce this sound and name one word on the topic "Food" with it.

Речевая разминка.
-Let`s play an interesting game.It is called "What is missing?". You can see some pictures on the blackboard.
-How many pictures canyou see?
- What can you see on the pictures?(lemon, beans, coconut, pineapple, pepper, salt, butter, mango, flour, sugar, olive oil).
Try to remember the food. Now close your eyes. Open your eyes. What is missing? You are right. Itislemon.

-It`s time to learn some new words. You can see them on the picture of exercise 1, page 46. Listen and try to read the new words and the word combinations.(a packet of biscuits, a bar of chocolate, a kilo of potatoes, a tin of beans, a loaf of bread, a jar of jam, a carton of milk, a bottle of coke).
-Who wants to read the words loudly?
-What can you see in the picture?(a packet of biscuits).
-How much is a packet of biscuits?(one pound nine pence).

I want you to read the task of exercise 2, page 46. Read the example, please. Today we shall make up your own dialogues.
-Can I have a bar of chocolate, please?
-Yes, of course. Here you are. That`s one pound fifteen pence, please.
Активизация лексико-грамматических навыков.
-Do you remember when we use "many", "much"?
-Many-c исчисляемыми существительными, much- с неисчисляемыми существительными.
-Сегодня мы познакомимся с ещё одним словом: a lot of - много. Его особенность в том, что в утвердительных предложениях им можно заменить и many , и much.
Example: I have a lot of apples.
I have a lot of butter.
-Let`s do exercise 3, page, 46. Read and choose.

Совершенствование навыков устной речи.
-Now I want you to read the task of exercise 4, page 47. How much do you know about food around the world? (учитель спрашивает уч-ся(можно на родном языке), какие блюда других стран они знают (например, суши, пицца, паста), какие из них они пробовали).
