Практическая: развитие коммуникативной компетенции обучающихся через освоение нового лексического материала по теме “Домашние питомцы и другие животные”, повторение модального глагола can, структуры have got/has got, изучение порядковых числительных.
Развивающая: развивать и активизировать речемыслительную деятельность обучающихся, их способности к межкультурному взаимодействию.
Воспитательная: формировать положительное отношение к животным.
Формы работы: монологическая, диалогическая, групповая.
Оборудование: Персональный компьютер, презентация к уроку, карточки, картинки, интерактивная доска.

Основная часть:
1. Warming-up. Phonetic drill.
2. Today we are going to learn ordinal numbers. Look at the board and listen to me.
– Yesterday was the eleventh of December.
Today is the twelfth of December.
Tomorrow will be the thirteenth of December
Translate into Russian.
– Look at the table of numerals. Read them aloud. (T-P1, P2, P3 …)
– Who is the first, the second, the third etc.? ( P1 - P2 – P3 …)
3. Children, we are going to talk about pets and other animals. Look at the board, revise them.
– Let’s do ex. 1 p. 106. The animals are running a race. Look and say which of them is the first, the second, the third…
– Ex. 2 p. 107. Look at the picture Ex. 1. Agree or disagree.
We’ve spoken about different types of animals. Let’s check how you know these animals. (Disk Project 2 – Unit 2 (p. 21) Label the pictures. Don’t forget to name the animals.
4. Make up your own sentences using the modal verb CAN: e.f: A rabbit can jump. (Disk Project 2 Unit 2 (p. 24).
