В своей работе учителя часто сталкиваются с ситуацией, когда мотивация к изучению иностранного языка начинает пропадать в виду усложнения грамматического материала, большим объемом лексики и нежеланием учеников выполнять домашние задания. Чтобы изменить эту ситуацию существует множество внеклассных мероприятий: КВН, спектакли на языке, концерты и т.д.
Мне бы хотелось поделиться со своими коллегами сценарием КВН на английском языке, который я проводила между учащимися 6-х и 7-х классов в рамках недели английского языка.
Ход урока
Ведущий:
Good afternoon our guests, teams and members of the jury.
We are glad to see you today.
We hope that you have good knowledge in English so the name of our competition is “ Are you an expert in English”.
Let us me introduce the members of our jury: представляются члены жюри.
Our teams: the 6-th form – Teacher – учитель, ведущий в 6 классе
the 7-th form – Teacher – Рудникова Елена Юрьевна.
the 7-th form – Teacher – учитель параллельной группы.
There are 7 tasks in our competition.
The first task
Your homework was-“ to introduce your team”.
I want the captains of the teams to come to me for casting of lots.
Max points for this task – 10.
Now. Let’s begin presentations.
I invite teams on the stage.
Jury, your marks, please!
The second task “World game”
You’ll get leaves of paper where you find the task. We’ll give you 5 minutes.
You must be quick, careful and think word, containing more letters because:
2-3 letters – 1 point;
4 letters – 2 points;
5 letters – 3 points;
6 and more letters – 4 points.
Jury, count the points, please!
The third task continues “World game”.
Think different words, using topics: “FOOD”, “ANIMALS”, “FAMILY”.
Make a stair using the first and the last letter of the words.
For example:

You must choose appropriate word. We’ll give you 5 minutes. Max points – 5.

The fifth task “Proverb expert”.
You must complete the proverb and give its Russian equivalent.
Max points – 10. We’ll give you 10 minutes.
Jury, tell us the points for the fourth tasks, please.
The sixth task -“Quiz”
You must guess the country and its capital which is hidden in the sentences.
Max points – 10. We’ll give you 5 minutes.

The seventh task – “Puzzle”
How well you know London. You’ll receive envelopes with puzzles. Make one of the famous places of London and tell us about it some words.
Max points – 5. We’ll give you 5 minutes.
Jury, tell us the points for the sixth tasks, please.
While our jury counts final points, we’ll invite our guests on the stage to sing song for us.
