Название урока: Личности в истории.

Тип урока: Систематизации знаний.

Цель урока: Систематизация знаний обучающихся.

Практические задачи:

1) совершенствование произносительных навыков;
2) совершенствование навыков аудирования;
3) развитие навыков устной речи;
4) активизация лексики;
5) контроль навыков устной речи в формате ЕГЭ.

Образовательные задачи:

1) обобщение изученного материала;
2) контроль знаний обучающихся;
3) расширение кругозора обучающихся.

Воспитательные задачи:

1) укрепление у обучающихся позитивного отношения к английскому языку;
2) развитие чувства патриотизма;
3) развитие стремления к лидерству, инициативы.

1) развитие слуховой памяти и внимания;
2) развитие коммуникативных навыков.

Ход урока

I. Речевая зарядка

T: Do you like History? Why?

На основе цитаты “History is the short trudge from Adam to atom”. (Leonard Louise Levinson.)

II. Фонетическая отработка лексики

На доске фотографии известных людей.

T: Do you know these people on the photos? What are they famous for?

Nicolas II, Elisabeth II, Bonoparte, Mozart, Washington, Galileo, Peter the Great, Mao Tse Tung, Martin Luther King.

III. Тренировка лексики в речи

T: What are they famous for?

1. First of all let’s revise the words to characterize them. (politician, leader, scientist, musician, explorer, ruler)

This person was an English playwright and a poet who was born in Strafford-upon-Avon  in 1564. He wrote many famous plays, including “Macbeth”, “Romeo and Juliet”. He married Anne Hathaway in 1582 and they had twins, Hamnet and Judith, in 1585. He moved to London in 1588, where he soon became very popular. He had his own theatrical company, called “The Lord Chamberlain’s Men”, and they performed his plays in Globe Theatre. He died in 1616.

Answer: William Shakespeare.

2. The Russian tsar Crowned tzar of Russia on April 27, 1682; became Emperor of Russia on October 22, 1721.
3. Main goals to regain access to the Baltic Sea and Baltic trade.
4. The Northern war with Sweden, lasted 21 years.
5. At the end of the war Russia was victorious and conquered the vast lands on the Baltic coast.
6. Founded St’ Petersburg 1703.
7. In 1712 Peter the Great moved the Russian capital to St. Petersburg and continued paying special attention to the swift construction of the city - his European "paradise".
8. He reorganized the government: established the Senat.
9. Died January 28 (February 8), 1725, St. Petersburg.

T: Do you know any prominent people of Mari El? Name some of them.

We are going to deal with the biography of the president of our republic.

Task: Use the words given to form the word that fits in the space in the same line.

Leonid Igorevich Markelov was born in 1963 and spent his (1)… and (2) …in Moscow.

After (3)…  school in 1980, he worked in Moscow State University of (4) …of Defense. In 1981 he entered this university.

In 1986  Leonid Igorevich (5)… the university and  served the army as a prosecutor in Mari El. In 1992 he retired and start working as a (6),,,.  in Mari El.
