"Нам песня строить и жить помогает:" эти слова из популярной песни советских времен приходят на ум во время создания данной статьи. И действительно, "с песней по жизни легче живется" и на уроках английского языка тоже. Когда предлагаешь послушать любую популярную песню на английском языке, у учеников возникают вопросы: О чем эта песня? Как переводится то или иное слово? Ученики сами пытаются перевести песню, понять ее смысл, и конечно, они хотят ее спеть. А это существенно повышает эмоциональный фон и мотивацию к нашему предмету.
Материал, предлагаемый ниже на примере песни "The Wind of Change" (by "Scorpions"), ориентирован на развитие навыков аудирования, говорения, а также расширение словарного запаса.
Работа над песней состоит из 4 разделов: в первой части ученикам предлагают ответить на вопросы, не слушая песню; вторая часть предполагает знакомство с вокабуляром; третья часть - непосредственно listening и выполнение ряда заданий к нему; и наконец, четвертая и последняя часть, которой все ученики к этому моменту ждут с нетерпением singing.
