Цель урока: взаимосвязанное коммуникативное и социокультурное развитие школьников средствами иностранного языка и ИКТ.

Социокультурный аспект - знакомство учащихся с достопримечательностями Москвы, Санкт-Петербурга, Курска; расширение их лингвострановедческого образования.

Развивающий аспект - развитие способности осуществлять продуктивные речевые действия, развитие творческих способностей учащихся, способности к сравнению и сопоставлению полученных знаний, способности излагать полученный материал; умение проектировать.

Воспитательный аспект - воспитывать культуру общения и поведения, развитие дружеских отношений в классе, воспитание умения слушать и принимать мнения другого человека, формировать потребность в коллективной работе, готовность участвовать в межкультурной коммуникации.

Учебный аспект - формирование коммуникативной компетенции и расширение страноведческого кругозора учащихся, активизация изученного лексико-грамматического материала, развитие речевой активности; формирование умения анализировать, систематизировать, обобщать полученные знания; формирование навыков самоконтроля; повышение ИКТ - компетентности учащихся.

Оснащение урока: ТСО: мультимедийный проектор, компьютер.

Ожидаемые результаты:

Ожидается, что в ходе уроков учащиеся научатся обобщать, систематизировать, интерпретировать культуроведческую информацию и в дальнейшем использовать её на практике для межкультурного общения. Более того, использование ИКТ-ресурсов на данном уроке значительно повысит мотивацию учащихся к изучению английского языка.

I. НАЧАЛО УРОКА

1) Орг. момент.

2) Речевая разминка:

I'm Barbara Grey. I'm from Great Britain. I teach English lesson. There are 20 boys and girls in my class. They are very happy, bright and a bit lazy. And what about you?

Most British students wear a school uniform. The favourite colours are blue, grey, black and green. And in Russia?

In Britain students sometimes learn two foreign languages. Usually French is the first foreign language. They also learn German, Spanish; Russian:Do students in Russia learn foreign languages at school?

I and my students would like to invite you to London. Soon you'll get the invitation-letter. It will be great to see you!

S.: Hello! I'm Julia. I'm 11. I'm from Russia. Russia is my country. It's the biggest country in the world. There are many mountains, rivers, lakes and forests in Russia. The plant and animal worlds of my country are also very rich. The Volga is the longest river in Europe.

S.: Hello! I'm Maxim. I'm from Russia. I'd like to tell you about Moscow. It is the capital of Russia. Moscow is one of the biggest and most beautiful cities in the world. Moscow stands on the Moskwa-River. The Kremlin is the heart of Moscow. There are a lot of theatres, museums, cinemas, cultural centers and other places of interest: the Tretyakov Art Gallery, the Pushkin Museum, Spasskaya Tower, Red Square, the Bolshoi Theatre.

S.: Hello! I'm Nikita. I'm 12. I'm from St Petersburg. It's my native town. St Petersburg is a city with a rich history. It is situated on the Neva River. In the 18-19 centuries St Petersburg was a capital of Russia. It's a beautiful city. There are a lot of places of interest there. It's a city of dream to everybody who is interested in the Russian history and culture. Welcome to St Petersburg!

T.: Would you like to visit St Petersburg? Why?

S.: I'd like to visit St Petersburg, because:(it's a beautiful city; I'd like to visit the Hermitage; there are a lot of places of interest there; I'd like to go to the Neva River)

T.: The last station of our project is our native town Kursk. (Приложение)

S.: There are many beautiful cities and towns in the world. But there is no place like home. I love my native town because I was born here and live with my parents. Kursk is an old town. There are many beautiful buildings and places of interest in my town.

S.: I like my holidays very much. In summer I usually don't get up early. I usually go to the country to visit my Granny. I have many friends there. We like to go fishing and play football together.

S.: Last summer I had the Gold Ring Tour and visited a lot of interesting places. I saw modern building and old churches, monuments and museums, squares and parks. The weather was wonderful. I enjoyed this trip.
