  3. Тренировка учащихся в чтении и понимании текста.
  4. Развитие диалогической и монологической речи.
  5. Практика в восприятии речи на слух.
  6. Применение ранее изученного грамматического материала:

Оборудование для урока:

  1. Карточки с транскрипционными значками [w], [a].
  2. Грамматическая опора Past Indefinite.
  3. Грамматическая опора "Степени сравнения прилагательных".
  4. Картинки с изображениями животных.
  5. Карточки-ключи с заданиями.

Ход урока

Начало урока. Организационный момент.

Good morning, children! I am glad to see you. Let's begin our work. Our topic today is "Pets and Other Animals". You'll recite poems, do some crosswords, read the text, ask and answer questions and tell me your stories about different animals.

Разминка.

On the blackboard you see the names of some animals. Put these words in alphabetical order:

b) Now make chain. The next word begins with the end letter of the one before: wolf - fish - :

Ученики описывают животных, но не называют их. Остальные должны догадаться, о каком животном идёт речь.

Do you like to go to the Zoo? Imagine that you were at the Zoo last week, month or perhaps yesterday. Try to make up a dialogue about your visit there. These questions will help you:
