T: Today, we shall continue to speak about the best country in the world. Scotland has everything you could ask of a holiday destination: from breathtaking scenery to stunning cities, wonderful festivals, haunting history, fine malt whisky, romantic castles and thrilling melodies of bagpipes. Of all places in the world few can capture the hearts as Scotland can.
Look at the board, please. There are some pictures here: Loch Ness, Glasgow, Edinburgh, the flag and the emblem of Scotland. The plan for today’s lesson is:

T: Scotland! A beautiful country, that inspired Robert Burns to write so many wonderful poems about its countryside and its people. He felt a special bond with the Highlands, with its high mountains and wild locks. I’d like to begin our lesson with the most famous Burn’s poems about Scotland “My Heart’s in the Highlands”. Open the books at page 184 and read the poem, please. (P1,P2, P3 read the poem).

T: After phonetic drills and the brainstorm, I see you are ready to work. Your home work was to make project works about Scotland.
