Warm-up.
Teacher: Hello, dear friends. I'm happy to see you at our English lesson. We go on speaking about music. I've got some questions for you.
- Do you like music?
- What types of music do you know?
- What music do you listen to when you are sad?
- What music do you listen to when you are happy?
- What's your favourite type of music?
- What musical habits do you have? This question is from your hometask.

a) Teacher: Now listen to the song and say what type of music it is. (Slide 1)

4. Class. To introduce used to to talk about the past habits. Ex.3p.36
a) Teacher: You are going to read the text and answer the questions to this text.
(Учащиеся читают текст самостоятельно и отвечают на вопросы в классе)
b) Teacher: Pay your attention to the underlined words "used to". Для того, чтобы рассказать о действиях, которые регулярно происходили в прошлом, в английском языке используется конструкция used to, которая переводиться как бывало/ раньше. Эта конструкция используется только для описания действий, имевших место в прошлом, то есть в Past Simple.
Example: I used to play the piano on Sundays.
Look at the screen (Slide 6). Скажите, о чём сообщается в следующих предложениях.
(ученики читают вслух примеры и переводят)
Teacher: Посмотрите на следующий пример и скажите, как можно рассказать о том, что вы раньше не делали. (ученики рассказывают построение отрицательных предложений.)
Teacher: А как узнать о том, что раньше делали другие люди. (ученики рассказывают построение вопросительных предложений)
Teacher: А как согласиться или не согласиться с высказанным предложением. ( ученики объясняют, как кратко ответить на вопрос)
Teacher: Now I'll give you some sentences and you should do them negative and interrogative. (спроецировать на экране с постепенным появлением) (Slides 7,8)

Игра "Театр мимики и жестов"
Teacher: Now let's play. Я предлагаю вам поиграть в игру "Театр мимики и жестов". Один ученик выйдет к доске и с помощью жестов покажет, что он раньше делал, а мы с помощью вопросов отгадаем, что он делал. Например: Did you use to sleep a lot?

5. Pair, class. To practise listening for specific information. Ex.4 p.36 (Slide9)
a)Teacher: Now you'll listen to the interview with Lil Bow Wow again. You've got a sheet of paper with sentences on your tables. Some sentences are true and some are false. Read and translate them into Russian.

a) Teacher: Сейчас я вам предлагаю вспомнить, что вы раньше делали, когда вам было 6 лет. Но вспоминать вы будете в парах, используя упражнение 5a. Pay your attention to the example (учитель зачитывает пример). The words from the Look box will help you. Start working. When you'll hear the signal you must change your roles.
