Цели:

  • Развивающий аспект:
    • Развивать коммуникативные навыки учащихся.
    • Учить детей делать презентации творческих проектов.
    • Развивать умение оценивать проекты своих одноклассников.
  • Воспитательный аспект:
    • Воспитывать бережное отношение к природе, к животным, к окружающей среде.
    • Воспитание и развитие понимания важности изучаемого материала.
  • Учебный аспект:
    • Активизировать изученную лексику по теме «Animals in Danger».
    • Обучение навыкам аудирования.
    • Обучение навыкам монологической речи.
    • Совершенствование грамматических навыков (РО “neither … nor”).

Задачи:

  • Скрытый контроль развития речевых умений.
  • Скрытый контроль орфографических навыков ( решение кроссворда).

ХОД УРОКА

I. Оргмомент

2 дежурных ученика задают друг другу вопросы организационного типа.

– What day is it today?
– What date is it today?
– What time is it now?
– What is the weather like today?
– Who is absent today?
– What was the homework for today?

II. Фонетическая зарядка

Учитель: Look at the board and read the words after me.

Учитель открывает слова.

– Arrange the words into two groups.
– What are the groups? (Verbs, adjectives.}
– Read only the verbs (To separate, to save, to use, to hide, to explore, to set, to continue.)
– Repeat the verbs after Ann.
– Find the irregular verbs and give the three forms of these verbs. (Hide – hid – hidden; set –set – set; rise – rose – risen.)
– Read the adjectives.Repeat them after Kate.

Ученики читают слова с доски и выполняют задания учителя.

III. Речевая разминка

Учитель открывает слова второго столбика.

  • Both boys and girl were playing basketball when their teacher saw them yesterday. (Neither boys nor girls were planning basketball when their teacher saw them yesterday.)
  • People speak English both in Russia and Italy. (People speak English neither in Russia nor in Italy.)

V. Translate into English

Учитель: Это ни сказка, ни детектив.

– What book is this? (Показать Красную Книгу, например – Московской области)
– What information can we find in the book? (About endangered animals.)

VII. Many wild animals are in danger nowadays. Let’s listen to the text about them. Ex.17 p.121.

1) People have lived on our planet for many years.
2) But they never depend on their planet, on the sun, on animals and plants around them.
3) Many animals and birds on the Earth are disappearing nowadays.

5) Tigers are dangerous animals because they can kill wild animals.
6) People kill tigers only for fun.
7) People never cut trees in the forests.
8) African elephants can help people.
9) Nowadays. African parks are fall of elephants.
10) Modern life is comfortable for animals and birds
11) The air is fresh and the water is clean.
12) Wild animals and birds have a lot of space to live and things to eat.
13) You can find the names of disappearing animals and birds in the Red Book.

– Well pupils, you see that the problem of disappearing animals is very actual nowadays. And before doing something we must really understand the problem. You must tell about disappearing animals to your friend, parents you must show them good examples to prove that the problem is very serious. And, of course, you must take special care of the animals.
