Teacher: Good morning! Take your seats, please, and get ready for the lesson.
I hope you are fine today, aren’t you? The weather is good. The holidays are coming and you’ll get a chance to put away all your textbooks and spend enough time with your friends
– Now tell me, please. What do you usually do with your friends?
– Oh I have heard the word “music”. Do you like music?
– Good because it is the theme of our Unit as you know is “Let the music begin” And we are going to revise words and word combinations, improve our Grammar to talk and read a lot of information about one of the most famous groups of the world. You will not only listen. I’ll give cards with questions to each of you. Your task is to find the correct answer during the lesson.

– Now we have the name of the greatest group in the history of pop-music. It is “The Beatles”
– We’ve spoken a lot about music, composers, singers and groups. Now it is high time to talk about “Beatles”. We are going to speak about the history and the creation of this group; also we’ll sing songs, make dialogues and get a lot of information. It is widely known that the name of the group is a combination of two words. They are: beat and beetles (слайд)

– It is time to read some information about the group. Read and be ready to answer the questions.

– Now please open your books on page 57 and find Ex 2. Here you can see some questions which can be used in your future interview. The communicative task is:
The four Beatles were often interviewed by a lot of journalists and reporters. They liked to answer numerous questions. They were witty, merry and played jokes. Now one of you will be the four Beatles and the others will be journalists and reporters. Journalists and reporters, please make interviews with the Beatles. (слайд)
You’ve got 6 minutes.

Как мы знаем, в английском языке существуют 3 неличные формы глагола:
Infinitive, Participle I , II, Gerund (Ving)
Что такое неличная форма глагола?
В отличии от личной формы глагола они не выражают действие, а только называют его. Ving используй после:
