Цели урока: формирование коммуникативной компетенции учащихся, расширение страноведческого кругозора учащихся.

Задачи:

Образовательные:

  • повторить и активизировать в речи учащихся изученные ЛЕ по теме “Travelling”;
  • развивать умения учащихся в монологической речи, а также устной неподготовленной речи;
  • закрепить навыки употребления условных предложений I типа, Present Perfect Tense;
  • продолжить развития навыков диалогической речи.

Развивающие:

  • способствовать развитию интеллектуальной, эмоциональной, мотивационной сферы личности учащихся;
  • развивать познавательную активность учащихся;
  • развивать внимание, воображение и логику.

Воспитательные:

  • формировать у учащихся интерес к культуре разных стран мира;
  • формирование навыков и умений интеллектуального труда ( поиск информационных источников, навыков самостоятельной и групповой работы).

Тип урока: Урок-экскурсия

Методы: Словесный. Практический метод упражнений, Проблемно-поисковый метод, аудио-визуальный метод.

Ход урока

I. Org. Moment.

T: Let’s try to guess the topic of our lesson. I have prepared a crossword puzzle for you. If you guess all the words correctly, you will be able to name the topic of our lesson.

  1. You buy it, if you want to go by bus, or by plane, or by car. (a ticket)
  2. A grey animal, likes cheese, but it’s bigger than a mouse. (a rat)
  3. A means of transport which you can see at the railway station. (a train)

T: Now you see that the topic of our lesson is:”Travelling”.

We are going to speak on this topic as much as possible, to remember the new words, to read emails, to revise Present Perfect Tense and do many other interesting things. Look at the blackboard and read the motto of our lesson:

“The More we learn different lands, the more we know each other”

II. Warm-up.

T: We know that many people are fond of traveling

1. Why do people like to travel?

St.1: They want to learn about different countries, culture and sightseeing’s.

St.2: Travelling is good because you meet new friends.

St3.: You can visit famous museums, galleries, buy souvenirs.

St4.: You can learn about national traditions of many countries.

2. How can people travel?

St.1: They can travel by car, by sea, by plane, by bus, on foot.

3. What means of transport do you prefer to travel?

St.1: I prefer to travel by car because I can stop when and there I want and enjoy nature.

St.2: I prefer to travel by sea because I enjoy the wind and the sea.

St3: I prefer to travel by plane because it’s the quickest means of transport and comfortable

St4. I prefer to travel by train because it’s the most convenient and not expensive.

4. What do people do on the board the plane?

Sts: The read books, newspapers, magazines listen to the music, watch films, sleep.

V. Role-game.

St. 1. Dear guests! Welcome to our Tour Agency. I am a manager of our tour agency and these are my agents. Our tour agents have prepared some information about Australia, the USA, Egypt and Kazakhstan. They have done small booklets of sights of these countries.

Agent 1. I invite you to visit Australia. Australia. It is a very interesting country. You can see the exotic birds, kangaroos, koalas, the Blue Mountains, The national Gallery. It has more than 70000 art objects in its collection. Welcome to Australia!

Agent 2. I invite you to visit Egypt. It’s a very beautiful country. You can see deserts, sphinx, Pyramids, ancient manuscripts, and of course, you can buy souvenirs. Your traveling will be exciting! You will not be bored!

Agent 3. I invite you to visit America. It’s the most beautiful country. There are a lot of  sightseeing in it. If you go to America, you will see the Statue of Liberty, The White House, the Washington Monument.

Agent 4. There are many countries in the world. But my country is the best. Kazakhstan is my Motherland. I admire its nature, mountains, and rare animals. If you go to Kazakhstan, you will enjoy Charin, Medeo, Tyan-Shan, Baiterek

St: Do you like to travel?

G: Yes, Of course!

St: Where have you already been?

G: I have been to China.

St: What have seen there?

G: I have seen the Great Wall, pandas, beautiful monuments.

St: How do you get there?

G: By plane.

St: Where do you stay?

G: At a hotel. I want to give a nice present to you. It’s the famous symbol of my country.
