Обучающая:

  1. Повторение лексики по теме “Времена года”.
  2. Введение новой лексики по теме “Мир вокруг нас” и первичное ее закрепление
  3. Развитие навыков аудирования на основе использования материала национально-региональной направленности.

Воспитательная:

  1. Воспитывать чувство патриотизма, любви к своей малой родине.
  2. Воспитывать познавательный интерес к предмету.
  3. Создание благоприятной для учащихся атмосферы урока.

Развивающая:

  1. Развивать логическое мышление, память, воображение учащихся.
  2. Развивать интеллектуальную, эмоциональную и мотивационную сферы личности.
  3. Развивать умение работать в команде.

Задачи

1.Greeting. Организационный момент. Приветствие. T: Good afternoon, dear boys and girls. Nice to meet you. How are you? Ps. - I’m OK, thank you. - Not so bad. - I’m all right, thank you - I’m fine, and you? ...... - So-so. I don’t like the weather. It’s very cold today. The sun isn’t shining. The sky is grey and it’s snowing. T: Misha, I can’t agree with you. There are four seasons in the year and each season is nice in its own way. Let’s remember some poems about seasons. Дети повторяют за учителем или наизусть рифмовки и стихи по теме “Времена года”. См. Приложение 1. Развивать интеллектуальную, эмоциональную и мотивационную сферы личности.
2.Introduction to the Lesson. Объявление темы урока. Учитель, показывая запись на доске ‘WORLD AROUND US’ и слайды 1-8 (См. Приложение 2.) спрашивает; “What do you think the theme of our lesson is? What shall we speak about today?” Ребята высказывают предположения: о природе, погоде, животных, растениях, климате, людях и т. д. " Учитель подводит итог:"Yes, you are right. Today we shall speak about everything that is around us. You will play, answer different questions, listen to a very interesting fairy-tale and at the end of the lesson you will share your opinion about your favourite season. Развивать логическое мышление, воображение учащихся.
3. Warming up. Активизация лексики по теме. Now let’s play a game. Remember as many words as you can on the topic ‘Nature’. Name the words in turn. Ребята встают и в быстром темпе называют слова по теме “Природа”: mountain, river, weather, hill, water, ground, moon, sun, rain, snow, grass, plant, etc.. Кто ошибается или медлит с ответом - садится. Побеждает тот, кто продержится дольше всех. Победителя можно поощрить аплодисментами, флажком или оценкой. Повторить лексику по теме “Времена года” Развивать память
4. Speaking. Развитие навыков диалогической речи. Well done. Thank you. I see you know many words on this topic. Now open your books on page 80 and read the task to ex 3. (Think of names for them). Work in pairs, please. Учащиеся работают в парах или это задание можно выполнить по - другому: ученик читает задание и адресует его кому-либо в классе; тот, кто отвечает на первое задание, читает второе и адресует его следующему ученику и т. д. Активизировать умения и навыки учащихся в устной речи.
5. Role Playing. Ролевая игра. Now let’s play a game. Pretend you are a geography teacher. Let your classmates answer the questions:
  1. How long rivers can you name?
  2. What mountains do you know?
  3. What can you see in the fields and forests?
  4. What can you see in the sky?
  5. What can you find on the earth?
  6. Which is the largest country in the world?
  7. Where is Russia situated?
  8. Is England situated on an island or on the continent?
  9. How many continents are there in the world?
  10. Which is the nearest ocean to our town?

Ребята разбиваются на группы. Один из них - учитель. Отвечают на вопросы.

Развитие эмоциональную и мотивационную сферы личности. Создание благоприятной для учащихся атмосферы урока, умение работать в команде.
6. Listening Comprehension. Развитие навыков аудирования. Стук в дверь. Заранее подготовленный ученик (почтальон) говорит, что принес письмо от мальчика, который живет в оленеводческом стойбище в тундре. Учитель благодарит “почтальона” и показывает ребятам оригинальный конверт, в котором есть письмо, рисунки жителей Севера в национальных костюмах, рисунки зверей и птиц Севера. T: Look at these wonderful pictures that children have sent to us. Слайды 9-11.Before listening to the letter let’s learn some new words: eternal, wealth, handful, silver, hope. Отработка лексики. Слайд 12 7. Установка на первое прослушивание: Now listen to the text and tick the words which are mentioned in the text. Card No.1. (Текст звучит в предварительно приготовленной записи.) Взаимопроверка по ключу. Слайд 13 8. Установка на второе прослушивание. Listen again and complete the sentences. Card No2. Проверка понимания текста. Слайд 14 Развитие навыков аудирования на основе использования материала национально-региональной направленности.
9. Presentation new words. Знакомство и первичное закрепление лексики. Well done. Now let’s learn some more words on the topic. Look at the list of words on the blackboard (ex.10 р.82-84) and tell me: a) which of them you know; b) which of them are verbs (explore, set, rise, continue, separate), nouns (explorer, exploration, nation, nationality), adjectives (curious, national), c) which of them are international (nation, national, nationality)? На основе наглядности объяснение, повторение за учителем, отработка. Введение новой лексики по теме “Мир вокруг нас и первичное ее закрепление”.
10. Summing up. Итоги урока. Was the lesson interesting for you? What new information have you learnt today? Учащиеся отвечают на вопрос, поставленный в начале урока: “What is your favourite season and why?” Развивать умение анализировать и синтезировать.
11. Home Assignment. Домашнее задание: Your new friend Pasha has sent you a nice letter with pictures and an interesting fairy-tale about seasons. Did you like it? At home you will draw your favorite season and describe it. We shall send your letters to Pasha. I think he will be very glad. Воспитывать чувство патриотизма, любви к своей малой Родине.

WHERE ARE SEASONS COME FROM?

Hello, boys and girls. My name is Pasha. I live in the Yamalo – Nenets autonomous region, in the Far North. The climate is very severe here. Summers are short and winters are long and cold. I like to sit by the fire during long winter evenings and listen to my granny’s tales. She is really a born story – teller. I want you to listen to one of her legends. It is called “Where Are Seasons Come from?”

Once upon a time there lived the Sun with his three daughters: the eldest was Autumn, the middle was Summer, and the youngest was Spring. They were happy in their father’s home. But then it was time to send them to the Earth. The Sun’s children were to be the seasons.

First to fly was Spring. She was so pretty in her youth that the Sun decided to make her a present of eternal youth. “People must like her”, he thought.

Three months later they sent Summer to the Earth. “You are a beauty!” said the Sun, saying good-bye to his daughter. “I shall make you a present of eternal beauty”.

And at last it was time for Autumn. “Take all my wealth,” the Sun told her. “Be kind, give people all you have, and people will love you.”

And on the other side of the world Winter, the only daughter of Frost, was getting ready for her journey. She was also to become a season on the Earth.

Her father worried about her. She had no rich clothes. He couldn’t make her any presents. Frost got together all the wealth he had and it was just a handful of silver. And that was all Winter had when she stepped on to the Earth.

Then she started to work. Winter wanted to make everything beautiful. She was ready to give everything she had to people. She threw all her silver on the Earth.

All over the Earth people began to talk about Winter, to wait for her to come. They started singing songs about her and writing poems and music to her.

But still Winter knew that when she was on the Earth people very often spoke of Spring, waited for Summer and placed their hopes on Autumn. And they were never sorry to say good - bye to Winter.
