Команда мальчиков 3а класса” Pussy Cat” и команда девочек” Mickey Mouse” отправляются в путешествие в Лондон. На пути у них будет 6 больших станций: фонетическая, лексическая, грамматическая, художественная, этнографическая, музыкальная. Участники команд должны показать свои знания английского языка.

Spot is a little dog. He is black and white. His head is white. His tail and legs are black. His nose is black too. Spot lives in the yard in a little dog-house. He likes to play. Spot is in the yard. He wants to play with little, yellow chickens. Now he is running after the chickens. The chickens are running away from Spot. Mother Hen runs up to the chickens. She wants to help her children. She runs to Spot and pecks him on his black nose.

1. Каждая команда должна рассказать о традициях и обычаях Англии и изобразить один обычай.
ST.VALENTINES’DAY (День Святого Валентина).
14 февраля в Англии празднуют День святого Валентина. Этой традиции уже более шести веков. Святой Валентин – покровитель влюбленных. В этот день все влюбленные обмениваются красивыми поздравительными открытками без подписи (их еще называют “валентинками”) и маленькими подарками-сюрпризами. На “валентинках” рисуют сердечки и цветы, пишут стихи собственного сочинения. И сегодня святой Валентин приносит подарки многим юным англичанам. Представь, у дверей звонит колокольчик, ты открываешь дверь и видишь на пороге красивый сверток. Интересно, что там внутри? А еще интереснее поиграть: в День святого Валентина написать имена знакомых мальчиков и девочек – и дать им тянуть из шапки свернутые трубочкой бумажки. Кто кому “выпал” – тот тому и Валентин с Валентиной. Существует поверье, согласно которому юноша, первым повстречавшийся девушке 14 февраля, должен стать ее Валентином (возлюбленным), хочет она того или нет. Поэтому многие английские школьницы ходят в этот день с закрытыми глазами до тех пор, пока не стемнеет или пока не столкнутся со своим избранником (учащиеся готовят “валентинки”).

К 1 апреля английские ребята готовятся заранее. Они придумывают весёлые розыгрыши, чтобы подшутить над кем-нибудь из своих друзей или знакомых.
Но у английских шутников времени для розыгрышей совсем немного – всего до 12 часов дня. А затем наступает время “обманутых”. “Апрельские дураки” имеют шанс отыграться
Вот как разыграли жителей Лондона ещё в 1698 году. Многие лондонцы получили приглашение посмотреть 1 апреля на купающихся в Темзе львов. Желающих набралось множество: шутка “сработала”, хотя всем было известно, что львы купаться не любят, в Англии не водятся, а Темза – холодная река.
Самые известные шутки: яйцо к завтраку, состоящее из одной скорлупы; “развязанные” шнурки на ботинках и галстуки у солидных джентльменов; “испачканный” чернилами нос у хорошенькой юной леди.
К полудню все розыгрыши завершаются, и “обманутые” могут подразнить своих обидчиков.

Baby Bear: Yes, yes, let us eat her up.
Little Girl: No, you won’t (убегает).
(Три медведя пытаются схватить ее, но спотыкаются и падают.)
