Тема урока: A File on Britain.

Тип урока: обобщающий.

Воспитательная задача:

• расширять кругозор учащихся;
• прививать любовь учащихся к стране изучаемого языка;

Развивающие задача:

• формировать языковые навыки учащихся.

Оснащение урока:

• нарисованная карта Великобритании;
• карточки с названиями столицы Великобритании и ее частей;
• флажки и эмблемы частей Британии;
• магнитофон и текст на кассете;
• стихотворение “It’s winter” (на доске);
• диаграмма на доске;
• карточки для индивидуальной работы;
• новые слова на доске (climate, mild, changeable, topic)
• рабочие тетради (Workbooks)

Ход урока

I. Организационный момент.

1) Начало урока.

Teacher: Good morning, children!

Pupils:

Good morning, good morning,
Good morning to you!
Good morning, good morning,
We are glad to see you!

Teacher: I’m glad to see you too!

2) Беседа с классом:

• Who is on duty today?
• Who is absent?
• What date is it today?
• What day of the week is it today?
• Is it cold today?
• What season is it now?
• Do you like winter?
• What can you do in winter? (play snowballs; make snowman; ski; skate, etc.)

Teacher: Let’s read a poem about winter.

It’s winter

It’s winter, it’s winter
Let’s skate and ski!
It’s winter, it’s winter,
It’s great fun for… (me).

II. Повторение ранее изученного материала.

1) Teacher: How do you think do people in Great Britain like winter?

(Yes, they do/ No, they don’t)

Do you know that the climate in the UK is mild? It means the weather is very changeable. On one and the same day it can rain, the sun can shine and then the wind can blow. The weather is a very popular topic of discussing for British people.

Now let’s revise the names, symbols and the capitals of British countries.

Задание на магнитной доске: на нарисованную карту Великобритании прикрепить карточки с названиями частей страны и их столиц, флажки и рассказать. Например, London is the capital of Great Britain and of England too. The symbol of England is red rose. (выполняет один ученик)

2) Teacher: Let’s revise how many people in the world speak English? (ex 1 p39 Lesson 2)

Pupils: 350 million people (the third place in the world)

Teacher: Now listen to the tape recorder and complete the diagram:

Teacher: Open your books at page 143 and revise the grammar material “Article the”
