Цели:

  • социокультурный аспект – знакомство с достопримечательностями Лондона;
  • развивающий аспект – формирование способности к распределению внимания, к анализу и синтезу, к сравнению и сопоставлению речевых единиц, к обобщению при овладении грамматическим явлением, формирование способностей к репродуктивным и продуктивным речевым действиям;
  • учебный аспект – совершенствование грамматических навыков чтения и говорения (The Present Perfect Tense), развитие речевых умений в диалогической и монологической речи на основе творческого использования усвоенного ранее материала в новых ситуациях общения;
  • воспитательный аспект – формирование адекватного восприятия и отношения к образу жизни и нормам поведения в стране изучаемого языка, воспитание положительного отношения к достопримечательностям Лондона, формирование патриотического отношения к своей малой родине, уважения к её достижениям и успехам.

Cопутствующие задачи: скрытый контроль уровня сформированности речевых умений.

Речевой материал:

  • лексический и грамматический материал, усвоенный на предыдущих уроках на рецептивном и продуктивном уровнях.

Оборудование:

  • грамматические таблицы, магнитофонные записи, иллюстрации достопримечательностей Лондона.

Тип урока:

  • закрепление и совершенствование знаний.

Ход урока

I. Подготовительный этап

1. Организационный момент.

Teacher: Hi, boys and girls! I'm glad to see you. Let's begin our lesson. Today we are going to speak about towns and cities. We shall speak about our town and about London. And it's necessary to revise grammar material: The Present Perfect Tense.

2. Фонетическая разминка.

Teacher: First of all let's prepare our tongues for the English language. Close your eyes and repeat after me. [ I, o, ?, p, t, k, w, w, w, wow, ?].

Now let's work at the sound [I]. Listen to the rhyme. Translate the rhyme. Repeat after me 2 times. Read the rhyme (3 pupils). Read as quickly as you can. Look at the poem and try to remember. Recite the poem by heart.

Six little kittens
Lived in a city
And the city was so pretty.

3. Речевая разминка.

Teacher: Answer my questions.

  • What is this rhyme about?
  • What city was it?
  • What pretty cities do you know?
  • Do you know London?

II. Совершенствование навыков диалогической речи по теме "Лондон"

Teacher:

  • What do you know about London?
  • Is it the biggest city in Britain?
  • How many people live and work there?
  • Is London a center for business and for tourism?
  • Has London theatres, cinemas, museums, churches?
  • What London places to visit do you know?
  • Look at the blackboard! What do you know about these places?

Children: the Tower of London was a fortress, a palace, a prison, and the King's Zoo. Now it is the museum. There are black ravens in the Tower of London. People look after them very well. St. Paul's Cathedral is the greatest English church. Sir Christopher Wren built it in the 17th century. Trafalgar Square is the center of London. In the middle of the square stands a tall column. It is a monument to Admiral Nelson. The National Gallery is the best picture gallery of the world. It is a fine building. It has tall columns. Every day many tourists visit this building. Westminster Abbey is a beautiful church. It is very old. Many English kings and queens are buried there. Hyde Park is the largest Park in London. It is one of the most popular places for Londoners on hot summer days. Oxford Street is London's main shopping center. You can buy clothes, shoes and toys in it. People shop in Oxford Street from all over the world.

III. Совершенствование навыков монологической речи по теме "Мой город"

Teacher: I see you know a lot about London. And what do you know about your own town, about Lyantor? Tell me about Lyantor. It was your homework.

Children: I live in Lyantor. It is in Tuymen region. Our town is not far from Surgut. Lyantor is rather small town. About 32 thousand people live here. There are 5 streets in our town. Lyantor has 5 schools, 2 music schools and 2 sport schools. There are no cinemas and theatres in Lyantor. But it has a History museum. There is a TV Company, Gas and Oil Company here. Our town is not green, because it' very cold here. I like my town, because I have a lot of friends here.

Teacher: Thank you. I see you like your town. And I think you want to have a clean town. Let's clean our town.

Clean, clean, clean your town.
Wash, wash, wash your flat.
Grow, grow a tree now
And be happy like a cat.

 IV. Совершенствование грамматических навыков

Teacher: Let's continue to relax and listen to the poem "The Beaches of Mexico" (ex. 11 p. 190).

Well, I've never seen the beaches of  Mexico.
I've never walked the streets of Paris.
I've never been to England.
I've never been to Spain.
I've never walked barefoot.
In a heavy rain.
But I've sure been in trouble.
I've sure been in pain.
I've sure been in love.
I'd do it all again.

Teacher: Listen, translate, repeat, read the poem. Посмотрите ещё раз на стихотворение. Какое грамматическое время употребляется в этих предложениях. Что обозначает это время? Какие указатели времени? Как образуется настоящее завершенное время? Приведите примеры.

Teacher: Now let's play a little. Close your eyes and try to guess what have I just done?

That's right.
I have just closed the book.
I have just written something.
I have just opened the door.
I have just locked the door.

Now open your copy-books put down the date, the word "Class work" and make the first sentence negative and interrogative.

V. Заключительный этап

1. Подведение итогов урока.

Teacher: Какое время мы повторили? Расскажите всё, что вы знаете об этом времени?

What else have we done at the lesson? (We have spoken about London and about our town).

2. Домашнее задание.

  • Еx. 11 p. 190 (by heart).
  • Make up 3 sentences in the Present Perfect Tense.
