1) Introducing “Unit 7A” at page 66 (7 min)

And now I’m going to show you the photos of some famous people and your task is to tell what they are. But please, don’t open your textbooks! They are famous actors, singers and sportsmen
Yes, you are right! And what about their names? I’m going to tell you their names and you’ll have to guess where each person is. (The teacher tells the names) The pupils try to guess their names looking at the photos
And now boys and girls tell me what we are going to study in this unit. We are going to study and read about famous people.

Well done. And now open your textbooks at page 66.

2) Developing reading skills – page 66 (10 min.)

  • And now, boys and girls, let’s read these 5 short texts and try to choose the right name. It’ll show us how you’ve remembered the persons discussed above and what they are.

3) Developing listening skills – ex. 2C, at page 66 (recording (5 min)

5) Introducing the new vocabulary – page 66, 1A (3 min.)

OK, and now write the unknown words from ex. 1A at page 66 in your copy-books and after that you are going to read these words and try to translate them.

Please, close your textbooks and copy-books. I’ll show you letters and you’ll have to form the previously learnt words.
