Задание 3. Монологическое высказывание
Наибольшее затруднение, как у обучающихся, так и учителей при подготовке к экзамену вызывает задание по составлению монолога на определенную тему.
Данное задание – это монолог по определенной тематике с визуальной опорой. Максимальное количество баллов, которое ученик может получить – 7. Если коммуникативная задача выполнена полностью, обучающийся получает 3 балла за данный аспект. Если за РКЗ получено 0 баллов, задание дальше не оценивается. За организацию высказывания и языковое оформление – максимально по 2 балла за каждый аспект.
Для успешного выполнения задания следует придерживаться следующих стратегий:
- внимательно прочитать текст задания, обращая внимание на пункты плана и объем монолога для того, чтобы уложиться в отведенное время;
- строить высказывание по плану, приведенному в задании;
- продумать вступление (о чем будет высказывание, общее представление темы), основную часть (раскрытие всех аспектов, данных в задании), заключение (подведение итога, выражение своего мнения);
- продумать ключевые фразы для каждого пункта;
- дать развернутую аргументацию, при наличии в пункте вопроса «Why»;
- использовать лексику и грамматику в соответствии с поставленной задачей.
Перед учителями английского языка стоит задача научить строить монологическое высказывание в рамках и формате основного государственного экзамена.
Для этого на протяжении всего периода обучения необходимо уделять внимание определенным видам упражнений с целью научить производить самостоятельные неподготовленные высказывания. К таким упражнениям можно отнести:
- работу с лексикой
- слушание /чтение с выборочным / полным пониманием содержания (заполнение таблицы, вставить недостающую информацию, определить верные/неверные высказывания, соотнести части высказываний)
- описание картинки
- продуктивные упражнения (обсудите, выразите точку зрения, дайте оценку и т.д.)
Начиная с 5 класса, наиболее продуктивными считаются вопросно-ответные задания, задания на основе прочитанного текста (с выходом на монолог о себе), построение высказываний на основе изученного материала. Например, в УМК «Английский язык» авторов О.В.Афанасьева, И.В.Михеева предлагаются следующие упражнения:
- You are sure to have a relative or a friend who lives in the country. Describe the place he lives in (room, furniture, modern conveniences).
- Say a few words about: a) your mother`s usual working day; b) your school day. First make a plan of your story.
- Answer the following questions and get ready to speak about sports in your life.
- Do you like sports?
- What are your favourite sports and games?
- When did you begin going in for sports?
- What sport was it?
- Do you like to pay games in the ground or do you just like sports programmes on television?
- How good are you at sports?

1. Choose a partner and talk to him/her about the animals in danger.
2. Were any of your classmates absent from the lesson? Tell him/her in brief what the text is about.
3. Tell your classmates about “the animals in danger” in this country. First, make a plan of your story.

4. Read out the sentences from the text to describe the pictures.
5. Speak about: a) popular British sports and games; b) sports and games popular in Russia.

Уже в 6 классе предлагаются задания на построение высказывания с употреблением вводных слов-связок.
Look at the map, say what places the children have visited and why, use the words from the word box.
Example: First the children went to Shannon to make a stop.[2]
Начиная с 7 класса, тематика заданий усложняется.
1. Interview your classmates to find out:
- how many students read books regularly;
- how many read them from time to time;
- how many don`t read books;
- what kinds of books they prefer;
- what authors they like;
- who advises them what books to read;
- if they borrow books from a school library/local library/ friends or relatives;
- if they think that reading books is important and why.
2. Describe: a) your school library, b) a public library in your city, c) an ideal library.[3]
В учебниках 9 класса появляются задания, приближенные к формату экзамена.
1. Give a two-minute talk on your teenager friends. Remember to say:
- how many friends you have and if they are mostly boys or girls or both;
- what you like about them;
- if there is anything in their behavior that annoys you;
- what brings you together and makes you good friends.
2. Give a two-minute talk on the problem of generation gap. Remember to say:
- how often you come across this problem;
- what are the main reasons for misunderstanding between parents and children;
- what helps to solve the problem and what aggravates it. [4]
При обучении монологической речи необходимо использовать дополнительные пособия для подготовки к ОГЭ, а также материалы с сайта ФИПИ.
Следующий ряд заданий представляется эффективным при подготовке к монологическому высказыванию на экзамене по английскому языку.
1 задание. Необходимо для того, чтобы учащиеся могли соотносить лексику с определенной темой и наоборот. Сложность задания может варьироваться.

2 задание. Аудирование.
Аудирование составляет основу общения, с него начинается овладение устной коммуникацией. Владение аудированием позволяет человеку понять то, что ему сообщают и адекватно реагировать на сказанное, помогает правильно изложить свой ответ оппоненту, что и является основой устной речи. Через аудирование идет развитие фонематического слуха, а также усвоение лексического состава языка и его грамматической структуры.

Task 3. Put the parts of the monologue in the right order
You are going to give a talk about books. You will have to start in 1.5 minutes and speak for not more than 2 minutes.
Remember to say:
- why people like reading books
- what kinds of books you like reading and why
- what topic you would choose to write about if you were a writer
You have to talk continuously.
- As for me, I like reading fantasy novels because I find them thrilling. When I read this kind of books, I lose touch with reality and immerse into a magic world of dragons, witches and other mythical creatures.
- All in all, I firmly believe that reading books makes our life more interesting and every time I have a chance I take my favourite book and explore another wonderful world. That`s all I wanted to say.
- If I were a writer, I would write about ecological problems of the modern world because I think it`s the most important topic in every person`s life. Without solving these problems we can`t live on Earth anymore.
- People like reading books for many reasons. Firstly, it`s one of the best ways to relax and to distract your mind from everyday duties because reading absorbs you totally. Also, there are so many types of books that you can find all the necessary information in them. Finally, for some people reading is just a hobby.
- I`d like to give a talk about books. In my view, it is a topical question of the present. [5]

4 задание. Важной частью монолога является наличие вводных слов и слов-связок (links), обеспечивающих логичность текста.

5 задание. Оценка монолога по критериям. Данное задание необходимо не только для поиска привычных лексико-грамматических ошибок, но также способствует развитию понимания общей картины и структуры экзаменационного монолога.
Task 5. Mistakes hunting.
You are going to give a talk about your daily routine.
Remember to say:
- what your weekday mornings are like
- how many lessons you usually have
- whether your weekday afternoons are busy, and why

My mornings are very similar and at the morning I wake up at 7 o’clock, go to the bathroom and then I go to the kitchen to have breakfast. Then I have some time to put on my clothes and maybe play some computer games. Then I meet my friend and we go to school. There I usually have 7 lessons but on Monday I have 5 lessons. On Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday I have 7 lessons and on Friday I have 5 or 6 lessons. So my favourite lesson is Literature because I like reading but I usually haven’t got enough time to read because I’m very busy and I spend a lot of time at school because my teachers can give me the work and I will do it. I think it’s normal to have very busy afternoons because you have work.
You are going to give a talk about animals.
Remember to say:
- what your favourite animals are, and why
- what people should do to protect endangered animals
- whether zoos are a good thing or not, and why
Sample answer
My favourite animals are wild animals because I think that they have their own personality and people can’t catch them, they live like they want. So, nowadays it’s a big problem to protect endangered animals because of many troubles in our environment.
In my opinion, people should build some special places for animals where animals could feel their safety, where they can get all they need like food, nature and other things they need in life.
I don’t think that zoos are a good thing for animals because zoos don’t have needed things for animals. But I think that mostly it depends on workers in zoos. If workers likes animals, they are going to do everything to protect animals, to do their lives better in zoos. And when people don’t like animals they can kill them. And I can’t say that zoos are good thing or bad thing I think it’s only about people.
6 задание. Составление собственного монолога.
Task 6. Complete the text.
You are going to give a talk about a hobby of one of your parents, relatives or a person you know. You will have to start in 1,5 minutes and speak for not more than 2 minutes.
Remember to say:
- what this hobby is
- whether this hobby is popular with people in other countries
- whether you would like to take up this hobby and why
You have to talk continuously.

Подводя итог всему вышесказанному, необходимо отметить, что обучение учащихся составлению монологического высказывания должно вестись непрерывно, на протяжении всего периода обучения иностранному языку в школе. Конечно, с каждым годом появляется большое количество УМК и пособий, посвященных подготовке к государственным экзаменам, но учебного времени не всегда хватает, чтобы изучить их в полном объеме. Поэтому в данной статье мы попытались привести задания и упражнения, которые способствуют наиболее качественной подготовке к успешной сдаче экзамена.
