Цели урока: развитие языковой компетенции учащихся через обобщение знаний по теме “Лондон и его достопримечательности”.

Задачи урока:

  • Социокультурный аспект – знакомство с достопримечательностями Лондона;
  • Развивающий аспект – развитие способности осуществлять продуктивные и речевые действия;
  • Воспитательный аспект – воспитание уважительного отношения к иноязычной культуре;
  • Учебный аспект – совершенствование лексических навыков говорения в виде монологической и диалогической речи, развитие навыков аудирования и чтения .

Ход урока

1. Организационный момент.

Teacher (T): Good morning, children. I am glad to see you. I think you are ready to begin the lesson. At the lesson we’ll speak about this topic. What is it? We’ll try to guess but now let’s do the task

2. Фонетическая зарядка (ex.17, p.17).

Fist listen to the tape recorder and repeat.

3. Речевая зарядка.

T: Did you guess the topic of our lesson? I think you did. Today we’ll speak about London’s places of interest. But it is necessary for me to understand what do you thing about these.

  1. 1. What places of interest do you know?
  2. 2. Would you like to visit London? Why?

4. Развитие навыков аудирования.

T: I see. We are going to travel together. But it is necessary for us to find the places that we want to visit. Now you’ll see the sights of London But before we’ll try to guess. What is it?

  • It is the famous clock. It is real bell. You can hear its deep tone on the BBC. People say that it is a face of London.

P1: I think it is Big Ben.

T: You are right. Let’s see this place.

  • It’s the home of the British royal family in London. Outside the palace we can watch a colorful ceremony of the Changing of the Guard.

P2: I think it is Buckingham Palace. 

T: You are right.

  • The buildings in which the British parliament sits.

P3: This is the Houses of Parliament.

T: You are right.

  • It is the best-known bridge. It was built in 1897. This bridge is across the Thames.

P4: It is the Tower Bridge.

T: You are right.

  • It is fine cathedral in central London. It was built by Sir Christopher Wren.

P5: It is St. Paul’s Cathedral.

T: You are right

  • It is a large gothic church. It was built in the 11th century. Almost all kings and queens have been crowned there. Many famous British people buried there.

P6: It is Westminster Abbey.

T: You are right.

5. Развитие навыков диалогической речи. Проверка домашнего задания.

T: OK you know a lot of places in London. But we can lose our way. It will be very important for you to ask some help. If you know the way you‘ll help the person to find the way. Take these cards and translate them into English. And then show you own dialogue with your partner. You have five minutes to do it.

– Простите меня. Не могли бы вы сказать, как найти Вестминстерское Аббатство.

– О это очень просто. Вы видите Дом Парламента. Рядом с Домом Парламента вы можете увидеть Вестминстерское Аббатство.

– О спасибо большое.

– Всегда, пожалуйста.

– Простите меня. Я ищу Кровавую Башню. Я так хочу ее увидеть. Не могли бы вы мне сказать, где она, пожалуйста?

– О она просто напротив вас Вы не знаете ,но Кровав я Башня это часть Лондонского Тауэра.

– О спасибо большое.

I’d like to see this place. Can you tell mу where it is, please?

– It’s just in front of you. You know but the Bloody Tower is a part of the Tower of London.

6. Развитие навыков чтения.

T: I think we are ready to travel. But it is so pity. We have a problem. I have an interesting story about one of the magical places. But in this story there are some missing words. Help me please. You will put missing verbs from the box in the right form. Read, translate and answer the questions. (Приложение 2)
