Цели: развитие критического мышления, посредством чтения текста.
- развитие навыков чтения с целью понимания основного содержания;
- развитие языковых навыков устной речи.
I. Introduction. Вступительное слово учителя о целях и задачах урока, о новом приеме в структуре урока.
II. Exciting interest. (Вызов)
- актуализация имеющихся знаний по теме «Семья и друзья: счастливы ли мы вместе?»;
- пробуждение интереса к полученной новой информации (прием «Кластер»)

III. Comprehending. (Осмысление – работа с отрывками текста)
- поддержать активное восприятие материала и интерес к нему;
- расширить знания по теме.

2) Try to translate the word combination and sentences:

3) Write down sentences / parts of sentences in the appropriate column.

They always want to know how many brothers, sisters and cousins you have, what they are like and what they do.
I have a brother and a sister. They are both older than me, and that’s why they feel superior. But they are not! They don’t pay much attention to me and that’s why they know nothing about me. But I know everything about them. I even have lists with their essential habits.
Lisa wakes up at seven but pretends that she is still asleep till half past seven. She
does that because she doesn’t want to cook her breakfast.
Lisa tells everybody that she does aerobics in the morning. Actually, she doesn’t do any exercises at all.
Lisa likes everything sweet and keeps candies in her schoolbag.
Lisa often leaves home later than 8 a.m. and this means she is regularly late for her classes.
Lisa worries about her looks so much!
Daniel listens to hard rock, but Mum and Dad think he likes classical music.
Daniel has a girlfriend , and nobody knows about it.
Daniel and his girlfriend sometimes go to a cafe and discos.
Daniel hates pudding which Mum cooks for him every Saturday. He doesn’t tell her about it because he doesn’t want to hurt her feelings.
Daniel often watches my cartoons, though he tells everybody that he likes action films.
