Время проведения урока: вторая четверть.

Цели урока: Формирование коммуникативной компетенции учащихся.

Практические:

  • развитие умений восприятия и понимания иноязычной речи на слух (речь учителя и учащихся на уроке);
  • развитие умений диалогической и монологической речи (в рамках темы урока);

Развивающие:

  • развитие памяти и мышления (в рамках темы урока);
  • развитие памяти, внимания, сообразительности, творческих способностей, догадки и умения сформулировать и аргументировать свою точку зрения.
  • развитие внимания, логики и языковой догадки учащихся (в рамках темы урока);
  • развитие умений коллективной деятельности (в рамках темы урока);
  • развивать умение работать в парах.

Воспитательные:

  • воспитывать интерес и уважение к стране изучаемого языка.

Общеобразовательные:

  • активизация употребления лексики по теме;
  • развитие фонетических навыков.

Задачи урока:

  • совершенствование интонационно-произносительных навыков (в рамках темы урока);
  • введение нового лексического материала по теме «Home, sweet home»;
  • введение нового лексического материала и формирование навыков его использования в речевой деятельности (в рамках темы урока);
  • совершенствование навыков техники чтения (чтение текста).

Оснащение урока:

  1. Кузовлев В.П., Лапа Н.М. «English-6», учебник английского языка для 6 класса общеобразовательных учреждений.
  2. Доска, мел, карточки, компьютер.

Структура урока.

  • организационный момент – 3 мин.
  • фонетическая зарядка – 2 мин.
  • речевая разминка – 3 мин.
  • основная часть урока – 30 мин.
  • подведение итогов – 1 мин.
  • домашнее задание – 1 мин.

Ход урока

1. Организационный момент

– Good morning, boys and girls! I am glad to see you.

– Good morning. We are glad to see you too.

– How are you?

– We are fine, thanks.

– Sit down, please.

– What date is it today?

What day of the week is it today?

Who is absent today?

Thank for your information! Let’s start our lesson!

2. Речевая разминка

Listen my question very attentively and try to answer them? At first look at my pictures!!!

  1. Have you heard anything about a light house (маяк),a caravan,(дом на колёсах),a teepee(вигвам), a houseboat(дом на воде)?
  2. What are the advantages and disadvantages of living in a light house, in a caravan or in a teepee?
  3. Would you like to live in one of these houses? Why?

3. Развитие фонетических навыков

T:People can live in different kinds of houses. Let’s learn to pronounce these words and write down in your exercise-books.

Some people in Britain live in unusual houses. Here are some of them. Match the pictures and names of the houses. Do a small test in your exercise-books.(слайд 2 )

Names of houses:

A house boat, a caravan, a lighthouse, a teepee.

T: Who can describe the pictures?

P1: I can see a house boat.

P2: I can see a caravan.

P3: I can see a lighthouse.

T: And now find the information about these houses in “Linguistic and Cultural Guide”, p.267

And now I’d like to tell you about other types of houses: A skyscraper, (небоскрёб), a cottage (одноэтажный дом), a mansion (особняк).( слайд3)

T: At first let’s divide into 3 groups. Each group has 3 pictures– a skyscraper, a cottage, a mansion.

Listen to the information about these houses and then match the types of houses with the correct pictures.

  • Cottages can found in the country side. They are the most economical houses. They are usually quiet small.
  • Mansions can be found in the country side, in towns, in the suburbs(пригород) of cities. They are the most expensive houses. They are very big and have large gardens.
  • We can see skyscrapers in large cities. They are expensive because they are usually high-class, luxurious (роскошный) buildings.

T: The owners of the houses have different opinions about living in them. Please, find this specific information.At first listen to the the text/

Do Rick, Wrs. Wilson and Ellis like living in their houses?

Divide into 3 groups. Each group reads only one part of the text.

T: Does Rick like living in his house?( The question to the 1st group)

P: Yes , he does. He’d like to live here all his life. The light house is far from the town and it’s quiet here. He likes to dream about the sea and ad ventures.

T: Does Wrs. Wilson like living in her house?( The question to the 2nd group)

P: No, she doesn’t. She lives in a caravan. Living there had some advantages and soma disadvantages. She didn’t like living in a caravan.

T: Did Ellis like living in her house?( The question to the 3d group.)

P: No, she didn’t. She didn’t like living in her teepee. It was very small for a family. She didn’t have a room of her own.

7. Формирование навыков говорения и письма

T: Would you like to live in one of these houses? Why?

T: And now write down one of the opinions in your exercise-book.

Example: I’d like to live in a teepee . It is romantic and unusual! There are no modern conveniences in the teepee.

Example: I wouldn’t like to live in a houseboat! On the one hand it is romantic! But the other hand there is no running water and central heating there. That’s why it is not convenient.
