  • Учебный аспект – развитие речевых умений на основе творческого использования усвоенного материала.
  • Речевой материал: лексический и грамматический материал предыдущих уроков.

Задачи урока:

  1. Активизировать лексику раздела V.
  2. Совершенствование речевых умений на основе творческого использования усвоенного материала.
  3. Развитие способности осуществлять продуктивные речевые действия к импровизации, к планированию своего высказывания, к воображению.

Комментарии к уроку.

Данный урок был проведен учителем в 2009 учебном году в 7 «В» классе. В группе обучается 11 учащихся, на уроке присутствовало 10 учащихся.

Ход урока

I. Introduction:

a) The greeting (T→CL).

T: Good morning, boys and girls!

CL: Good morning, Tatyana Anisimovna.

T: I’m glad to see you!

CL: We are glad to see you too!

T: Sit down, please! Let’s begin our lesson! Today we are going to finish our subject "Do You Have Any Problems With Your Friends?" We’ll discuss about "What is an Ideal Friend? What is friendship?"

b) The teacher’s questions "The Weather, the Season".

T: What date is it today? What is the weather like today? What season is it now? Do you like Winter?

II. Phonetics.

a) Let’s pronounce some sounds and the words with them.

  • [e] friend, friendship, Valentine, together, generous;
  • [ai] my, time, nice, try, advice, rely, ideal;
  • [i – i:] wish, with, similar, interest;
  • Need, indeed, dream, keep.

b) Let’s pronounce some rhymes with these sounds and words

  1. A friend like you
    Is a dream comes true!
  2. Be my Valentine!
  3. A friend in need, as a friend indeed!

III. Рractice in Oral Speech.

a) Answer my questions, please:

- Have you got any friends?
- How many friends have you got?
- Is friendship important for you?
- Are you happy with your friends?

b) Look at this slide, please (см. Приложение 1).

First, pronounce these words all together!

Brainy, responsible, supportive, loyal, generous, considerate.

Secondly, pronounce the following phrases

IV. Practice in Grammar.

a) Let’s review our Grammar rule, when we use relative clauses with WHO/ WHOM/THAT/WHICH.

P1: Who/whom/that – когда придаточные предложения одушевленные предметы.

P2: Which/that – когда придаточные предложения определяют неодушевленные предметы

b) Look at the next slide and answer the question (T→CL).

T: What do you think about a friend and friendship?

T: Thank you very much. Many people like to congratulate their friends on different holidays. What holidays do we celebrate in Winter?

V. Summing up.

T: Now, we came to the final point of our lesson. Let’s present your projects, your reports according to the theme:

  • "My Best Friend".
  • "All about Me as a Friend".
  • "My Ideal Friend".

T: The task is:

  1. Listen to your classmates very attentively.
  2. Try to ask some questions to your mates.
  3. Give your comments on their projects.

The project "My Best Friend" is presented by Judintsev Edward (см. Приложение 2, Приложение 3).

Edward: No, you are not right.

Edward: He isn’t tall.

T: In our town there are some newspapers and magazines to which children can write their letters. Some girls from your group wrote the letters about their friends.
