Essential Part of the Lesson

I. Оргмомент. Постановка задачи, вызов интереса.

- Good afternoon, my dear pupils. Today we are going to have a not ordinary lesson. Our task is to practise gr. rules about Pr. Simple and Pr. Progressive in our speech and first of all we are going to speak about gr. rules, do some gr. exercises, work with text and of course play games. OK, are you ready to start?

II. Look at the blackboard where you can see two pictures and below there are two sentences. Look at them very attentively and compare them and tell me: what gr. Forms are used and why? How do we call them and how do we form them? (Учащиеся отвечают) Вопросы записаны на доске. (You are so clever, You know so much). (Учащиеся в начале урока сидят по группам). And now let’s play the game. Here there are sentences for one group and here there are sentences for another and your task is to fill in each gap (am/is/are/do/does).

  2. The dog … sleeping at the moment.
  3. They … not watch TV every evening.
  4. My father … not get up at 7 p.m.
  5. I … playing with my dog now.
  6. He … doing his homework now.
  7. She … not go to cinema every day.

And now let’s check these tasks. Если есть ошибки – объяснить, прокомментировать.

III. Now please open your copybooks and write down the date of today and class work. Have you written down? What was your home assignment? (Д/з. было ех. 50 р. 200 – 201 читать и переводить тексты) – один из учеников говорит задание. Now one group will work with the first text and another group will work with the second text. Devide your sheets of paper into two columns and write down into one the sentence swith Pr. Simple and into the other with Pr. Progressive – Дети выполняют задание, затем проверяем. Дети объясняют, почему они записали одни предложения в первую колонку, а другие во вторую.

Well, and now let’s have a little rest. Shake your hands, look at the window, close your eyes for some seconds.

IV. Now let’s have another look at the text and answer the questions. – У ребят на столе лежат листы с вопросами к тексту. Work in chain. Read the question and answer it one by one. У каждой группы свои вопросы. Учитель помогает учащимся правильно выполнить это задание.

V. “Snowball” Game  – каждая группа по цепочке пересказывает текст; вопросы к тексту могут служить опорой.

VI. Do you like to play? What is your favourite colour? Учитель раздаёт 2 конверта с набором слов для каждой группы. Now we’ll play the game “Make up sentence”. Your task is to put the words in right order in order to make up а sentence. But first let’s remember how to form negative questions. Один из учеников напоминает правило. Дети выполняют задание, учащиеся становятся в ряд и в руках держат таблички со словами из предложений. Потом они переводят получившееся предложение на русский язык.

VII. Индивидуальная работа по карточкам. Now I give you the cards and you work оn your own and write down into your copybooks only the correct answer.

Заключительный этап урока

I. Now please open your diaries and write down your home assighment for the next time: p. 204 выучить слова ех. 3 р. 206. Учитель объясняет, как выполнять.

II. Now let’s do some conclusions. What have we done during our today's lessons? Один из учащихся на русском языке подводит итоги, перечислят все то, что делали на уроке.

III. Выставление оценок учителем с комментарием: so, thank you very much for your work. The lesson is over. You may go. See you next time.
