Внеклассная работа по иностранному языку является не просто формой организации досуга учащихся, но и важным аспектом учебно-воспитательного процесса. Она не только расширяет и углубляет знания, умения и навыки в овладении иноязычной коммуникативной деятельностью, но также способствует расширению кругозора, эрудиции школьников, развитию их творческой активности и эстетического вкуса. Как следствие, это повышает мотивацию к изучению языка и вызывает интерес и уважение к культуре других стран.
Формы проведения внеклассных занятий по английскому языку очень разнообразны, но одним из достоинств этого вида работы является возможность привлечения широкого контингента учащихся. Массовый характер данных мероприятий способствует сплочению коллектива и формированию общественного мнения не только в рамках одного класса, но и целой школы.
Всё это помогает детям более целостно познавать окружающий мир и адекватно его оценивать, способствуя тем самым решению одной из самых приоритетных задач процесса воспитания, а именно формированию духовно-нравственной сферы и толерантного сознания школьников.
Следует отметить, что большой популярностью среди учащихся нашего центра образования пользуются праздничные концерты, которые проводятся в рамках недели иностранного языка и посвящены определённой тематике.
При знакомстве с культурными особенности и обычаями стран изучаемого языка, у детей воспитывается чувство уважения и приятия людей других наций; формируется мнение о том, что, несмотря на разделяющее расстояние, разницу национальностей и языка, у нас много общего.
Вашему вниманию представлен концерт под названием “Этот маленький мир”, цель которого обратить внимание учащихся на общечеловеческие интересы и ценности, воспитывая тем самым, чувство толерантности и гуманного отношения друг к другу.
It’s a small world
- Good morning, dear teachers, parents, boys and girls. We are very glad to see you in our Assembly Hall.
- Today we’re having a concert of English and American Children’s songs.
- The name of our concert is “It’s a small world”. You know that we live on a very beautiful planet. The name of it is the Earth. It’s a common home for people of different nations and races.
- All of you know Russian songs for children and today you’ll get acquainted with the American and British children’s songs which became popular among the children of the whole world.
- So let’s start! People who live in different countries have various habits, interests and hobbies but all of them have the same desire to be happy.
- Pupils of the 6B will show us what they do when they are happy. So the first song of our concert is “If you are happy”, 6B.
- Do you like to travel?
- Of course, I do.
- So do I. Many people like to travel by plane, by ship, by train or by car.
- But pupils of the 6a form prefer travelling by bus.
- Let’s join them in their trip about London on a famous double-decker.
- 6A and their song “The wheels on the bus”.

- I heard that at Halloween children put on ghosts’, witches’ or some other characters’ clothes. They go to the neighbour’s houses and ask for some tasty things.
- You are absolutely right. And if they don’t get sweets they frighten the other people or play different tricks on them.
- So, now it’s better for you to prepare tasty things for the pupils of the 7B form.
