I hope our gests will have an enjoyable time with us / in our class.

I. Speak on the topic

Day in, Day out! What is the meaning of this title? What do you expect this lesson to be about? What do you think?

It is a plan of our lesson.

Look at the board and say what we are going to do in class / at the lesson.

P1: My task is to practice speaking and grammar.

P2: My task is to develop English in pair-work and group-work.

P3: My task is to get to know new knowledge.

II. Let's talk a little bit about your daily routine. P.36 & look at the pictures and repeat these expressions after me. Please, count how many expressions with 'have+ noun'. Can you remember 6 or 7 more?

What do you do every day?

In the morning/ at noon/ in the evening/ at night/ at weekends?

And don't forget about the time!

a quarter - what means/ half past ? Let's sing the song "3:15".

These pictures will help you!

III. Look at this picture! Do you know him? How much do you know about the most famous young magician?

? When you explain about your daily routine what time do you use? Pr.S. for the first person singular without -s. But now we are going to use Pr. S for the third person singular. What is the contrast between the verb usage? Look at the board! & practice in grammar! Grammar is a very important part of the language. So we start with it! Look at these notes! Just remember

about - s for the third person!

Let's do an exercise to practice how to use Pr. S SB: p.36, ex. 4. and now you are going to give your own examples & make a short story about Harry Potter. Use Pr.S. tense.

Do you have any question?

Is it clear? You were successful with intonation grammar. So it's OK! We can go father.

IV. Worker's morning & Mother's evening. Every body has their own precious parents. And they do all their best for you. Look at the illustrations and make a short story about : decide on appropriate times for each activity

QUESTIONS TO THE PICTURES & give the answers in pairs.

What does the mother do in the morning?

You had good practice asking and answering the questions.

V. Let's go over the story again. Just remember the order of this story.

You have a good memory! Great!

VI. Have you ever thought about a typical men's work and women's work?

Some people think that only women should cook and only men should hammer nails.

The game.

VII. Work everyone does! Group survey

Ask everyone in your group these questions. Check every day, often, occasionally, or never. Count your answers and report your group's result to the class. And I will write down them.

How often do you : Every day sometimes never
cook?
wash the dishes?
dust the furniture?
does the ironing?
make the bed?

VIII. Discuss and sum-up all information.

At the lesson we've discussed different moments of your own experience to do something.

Now, let's discuss in group what would make you feel happy? The team which makes more suggestions will be a winner

Mary, you will count the points and make the results.

Teams Counting Result
First team
Second team
Third team

IX. Write about your day and find someone who...

Write down your day and compare with your partner's day.

What is the same? What is different?

f.ex.: The first team is a winner - : points

IX. Conclusion on the results.

Let's see how successful we've been during the lesson.

I'm glad that most answers were correct.

Every one was participating.

In pair-work - N and V did a great job!

Your ideas were interesting and attractive!

You and your friends worked together and showed good results and willingness for collaboration!

I hope you enjoyed this lesson. I did. Have a good day. Bye!
