Цели урока:
- Образовательная – формирование лексических навыков говорения в рамках речевой ситуации, что могут делать животные.
- Развивающая – развитие речевых способностей (способность к догадке, предвосхищению событий), речевой деятельности (речевое внимание, воображение, мышление), а также развитие мотивации и положительного отношение к дальнейшему изучению иностранного языка.
- Воспитательная – воспитание мотивированно-ориентированной личности.
Задачи:
- использовать лексико-грамматические навыки для составления высказываний по теме;
- активизировать речевые навыки на уровне представления информации о животных;
- использовать игровые технологии для более прочного усвоения материала учащимися;
- формировать позитивное отношение к предмету английский язык.
Оборудование: Tape, photocopiable materials (PM) – hand outs, picture cards (PCs): animals, an elephant, monkey, kangaroo, lion, tiger, crocodile
ХОД УРОКА
1. Greeting
T: Good morning my dear girls and boys.
Pp: Good morning, good morning, good morning to you; good morning dear
teacher we are glad to see you
T: I’m glad to see you too. How are you today?
P1: I’m good.
P2: I’m OK.
P3: I’m brilliant
T: I’m happy you’re good. Today we’re going to go to the Safari
Park and see what do animals do there.
2. Warm-up
T: What songs or rhymes about animals do you remember? Let’s sing them.
Answers: Song “I feed and stroke my pet”
“I’ve got a little cat”
Chant “I’ve got”
Rhyme “Have you got a little dog?”
3. New language
T: What animals do you khow?
Pp: Cats, dogs, cows, hamsters, mice, pigs.
T: Can they live in Safari park?
Pp: No, they are domestic.
T: What animals can live there?
PP: Wild
T: Look at the pictures of wild animals and match them with their names.
(The teacher puts PCs on the board and names them)
4. Game Echo
(The teacher shouts out the words animals, an elephant, monkey, kangaroo, lion, tiger, crocodile; then says them more and more softly, then whispers them. The pupils are to say after)
5. Song The Safari Park
T: Open your books on page 50, ex.1
Watch the miming description and guess what is going on in the Safari Park
Let’s go to the safari park
And see the animal before it’s dark.
The lion’s big and very strong,
And the kangaroo is jumping along!The elephant is strong and grey,
The little panda is sleeping all day.
The big and hungry crocodile
Is watching me with a big toothy smile.A monkey high up in the tree,
Is looking down and smiling at me!
Now have a look at the big brown bear;
And the tiger too, but please don’t stare!
(The teacher says the words of the song and mime; pupils join in miming.)

6. Guess the animal.
- It’s big, it’s brown, it’s strong, It likes honey. (bear)
- It’s strong, it’s grey, it has got a long nose.(elephant)
- It’s big, it’s green. It can swim. It eats fish and monkeys. (crocodile)
- It lives in the tree. It can jump form tree to tree. (monkey)
- It looks like a cat. It’ s big, it can jump, it can run. (tiger)
- It’s very big, it’s king of all animals. (lion)
7. Read and say (Ex.2, p.51)
T: Now we’re going to read another tale Amanda the Panda. Read the
conversation and say what each animal can do.
T: What can the elephant do?
Pp: The elephant can cut bamboo.
8. Mingling game What do animals eat?
(The teacher gives hand outs with the information about only one animal to each pupil. Pupil walk around the classroom asking about other animals). (Приложение 2).
