- обсуждение различных причин для необходимости изучения английского языка;

- практиковать учащихся в различных видах чтения:просмотровом, поисковом;
- практиковать учащихся в аудировании;
- практиковать диалогическую и монологическую речь учащихся;
- учить работать в малых группах.
Оборудование: аудиозапись, тематические картинки, таблица с новой лексикой и грамматическими структурами, рабочая тетрадь на печатной основе, учебник “New Millennium English”.
