Цель урока: обеспечить обобщение и закрепление лексического материала по теме: “Страны. Языки. Национальности” в серии речевых упражнений. На материале подготовленной презентации познакомить учащихся с англоязычными странами и обеспечить первичную отработку материала.
Задачи.
- Развивать умение на слух воспринимать информацию и выражать свое понимание в требуемой форме (назвать родину участников конференции).
- Обучать вести разговор в рамках изучаемой темы, расспросить собеседника, ответить на его вопросы, высказать свое мнение.
- Формировать умение использовать языковую и контекстуальную догадку в процессе восприятия речи на слух и при чтении.
- Формировать умение рассказывать об англоговорящих странах.
Оборудование: ноутбук, проектор, экран для презентации; раздаточный материал – языковые упражнения; музыкальный центр, диск УМК к учебнику М.З. Биболетовой Enjoy English-7.

1. Организация класса.

2. Обобщение и закрепление лексики по теме: “Страны. Языки Национальности”.
1) Проверка домашнего задания.
- Today we'll check up your home task in the form of the game “ Guess the country”. Now Sveta will think of the country and Denis will ask her the questions to get the information about this country to try to guess the country.
We’ll have so called a dialogue. Let’s begin.
(Домашнее задание - упр. 5, с.28 в рабочей тетради. “Make up the questions you can ask if you want the information about the country”.)
2) Речевая разминка.

My country is a country and a continent.
It’s the sixth largest country in the world. Because of its geographical position, our summer is from December to February.
My country is famous for its native animals: the kangaroo and the emu can be regarded as the symbols of the country. The largest and the most beautiful cities of my country are Sydney, Melbourn and its capital - Canberra.
2. SAM
My country is situated in North America. It stretches from the Atlantic ocean in the east to the Pacific ocean in the west.
My country is large and famous.
Who is the world has not heard of the Niagara Falls and the Mississippi, General Motors and Microsoft, McDonald’s and coca-cola?
The capital of my country is Washington.
3. MELISSA
I am from an island country. It’s twice smaller than France or Spain.
But its capital is one of the world’s biggest cities. The Head of the country is Queen Elizabeth II. There are 91 Universities in my country. The most famouse and the oldest are Cambridge and Oxford.

Из текста выпали некоторые буквы. Вставьте их в соответствующее название страны, национальности или континент.
4. Crossword. (Раздаточный материал)
Знаете ли вы, откуда эти люди? Вы узнаете об этом, если внимательно прочитаете тексы и вычеркните страны, которые не являются их местожительством. В указанные места кроссворда впишите названия стран, национальностей и столиц, которые соответствуют отдельным лицам, а в результате получите ключевое слово.
Учитель вызывает по очереди трех учеников для выполнения этого задания.

Выступление с презентацией. Ученики выступают по очереди. Каждый рассказывает про одну из англоязычных стран. Дети слушают и записывают основную информацию в тетрадь.
