  1. Read these words.
  2. We can use зе or зи before the words. Read these words , saying the before each one.

  3. Why the is pronounced зи some words and зе before others? (Because we use зе before consonants, зи before vowels)

What planets do you know?

The nine planets that orbit the sun are (in order from the sun): Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto (a dwarf planet or plutoid).

Please, write the names of planets in correct order.

Check your answers.

Easy ways to remember the order of the planets (and Pluto) are the mnemonics: "My Very Excellent Mother Just Sent Us Nine Pizzas" and "My Very Easy Method Just Simplifies Us Naming Planets" The first letter of each of these words represents a planet – in the correct order.
